The Urban Rumpus space, has been thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs and interests of Inter-generational families and the Elderly. This innovative and forward-thinking project seeks to create meaningful connections between people and Maungarei, one of the area's most cherished local landmarks. By focusing on enhancing accessibility for the elderly, Urban Rumpus ensures that all members of the community can enjoy the space comfortably and safely. The project also offers a variety of amenities such as playspaces for children, ensuring that the needs of younger families are met as well. This initiative is fueled to erase generational gap and allow social and cultural connection in the community. I believe that play is not only for younger generations, I want to create a community-centric design solutions that bring people together, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusivity for individuals of all ages within the community.
