Redefine Architecture
I’m an architecture graduate Influenced by traditional building, and material culture, my work is guided by the belief that architecture should connect with people—not just functionally but emotionally. I’m drawn to materials and forms that reflect the stories and values of people.
In my design process, I explore how local materials and vernacular techniques can be reinterpreted to create spaces that fill our roles as Kaitiakitanga. I’m fascinated by the quiet intelligence found in traditional buildings—how they respond to climate, craft, and community without needing to shout.
For me, architecture isn’t just a static structure. It’s about buildings that humans and more-than-human want to touch, live in, and remember. Buildings that feel alive.
This portfolio gathers the beginnings of that journey—projects that reflect my growing desire to design with empathy, sustainabilty, and a respect for the knowledge embedded in place and material.
